This year for the season of Advent, we will be seeking Christ’s nativity around us as we gather in worship and as we go out into the world, looking for signs of Christ’s presence as we seek and find: Hope, Good News, Wonder, Surprises, and even God with us now.
Like in a scavenger hunt, as we go out from worship we will be looking for images that point to the themes for each week. We will bring what we have found back to worship the next week and will be pasting the items into a collage. Each week will have its own collage: a star for HOPE, an angel for GOOD NEWS, Mary and Joseph for WONDER, a shepherd for SURPRISE.
May our Advent activity heighten our anticipation of Christmas as we watch for signs of Christ’s presence with us now.
