The week will begin right after worship on Sunday with an hour of varied activities for all ages and abilities. From there the service opportunities will continue every day of the week with projects during the day and in the evenings to suite many schedules. The projects will take us out into the community where, “We will vibrantly serve Christ with courage, enthusiasm, and a fun-loving attitude”. We hope that you will keep this week open and plan to participate with your whole family. Details and sign-ups will be available soon.
If you have not gotten a Mission at Work T-shirt in previous years (or if you need a new one), there is a display and sign-up for ordering your shirt on the bulletin board across from the Music Room (just a few feet from the Gathering Area – ask an old timer if you can’t locate it). Everyone is encouraged to have and wear the Mission at Work T-shirt during Mission Week, including Sunday morning, Aug 7.
