On Friday, October 12, Applause…Memorable Music at St. Andrews will present THE GREATER HARRISBURG CHORUS, SWEET ADELINES in concert at 7:30 pm in the church sanctuary. This will be the first concert of the 2018-2019 concert season.
This chorus was formed in 1956 and has come a long way since then. They are current first place mid-chorus champions in a 4-state region and will be competing internationally in New Orleans in 2019. The current membership boasts 60+ enthusiastic women for whom their participation is more than just a hobby. Their concert here will include ballads, classic songs, show tunes, and mainstream music, barbershop style, with no accompaniment whatsoever!
