What are the scriptures that bring you comfort? Are they ones you encountered in reading scripture, memorized as a child, heard in a sermon? However, these passages have been encountered, they hold value and provide comfort in our journey of faith. This summer everyone will have the opportunity to join in a scripture memory challenge. The scriptures listed below are for the months of June, July and August. If you memorize a month’s worth of scripture and recite them to Rob you can get a gift card to Patches Creamery for Ice Cream. If you would prefer there is also a contest for creating art based on the scripture passages, winner of best piece will be featured on the September newsletter. Below are the scripture for the summer!
