For Visitors

What to Expect

First, the times...we have two worship services (at 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.) with Sunday school classes at 10:00 a.m. for all ages. The 8:45 service is a more contemporary style service while the 11:00 service is traditional. During the summer, we have a single service at 10 a.m., followed by coffee hour fellowship.

As the services begin we have greeters at the entrance to the sanctuary and ushers to give you a bulletin and to help you find a seat. The ushers will also be able to help you with large print bulletins, headphones or if you need assistance getting in. (see SPECIAL NEEDS below)

We recently began a Nametag Ministry, so that we, as members, might get to know each other better, so you will see people getting their nametags from the holders. We would be happy to greet you by name if you would like to wear a nametag. It is certainly optional.
If you choose, you may fill out the Friendship Register from the pew rack to let us know you came.

There is usually plenty of seating available in the sanctuary. Sit wherever you like, there aren't any reserved seats. (Though occasionally the ushers will rope off a pew or two when necessary. Please avoid those.)

Our worship services are easy to follow by using the bulletin and screens, and they last about an hour. The volunteer worship leaders and pastors will give any directions needed during the service.

You don't have to pay anything. We don't expect our guests to put anything in the offering plate, though you are certainly welcome to if you would like. Our members and regular attendees freely give to support our ministries.

Between services you are invited to join folks in the Gathering Area (just off the area where you entered) for coffee or tea, and some goodies - and again there is no charge for the refreshments.

Special Needs

Designated parking is available for vehicles bearing "handicapped" parking stickers or license plates. Several spaces are located at the side of the church near the main entrance.

Wheelchair access is easy at St. Andrews. There is a "drop-off" loop just below the main entrance with a ramp to the main church doors. There are no steps or barriers between the narthex, the sanctuary, and the gathering area. An elevator serves the main floors of the church and wheelchair accessible restrooms are available.

Assistive Listening devices and large print bulletins are available. Please ask an usher.

Children

We have child care available during all services. The safety of all children at St. Andrews is paramount. Click here to see our "Safe Sanctuaries" policy.

Child Care is offered in the Nursery on the main level from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. by St. Andrews nursery staff and volunteers. If you prefer, you may certainly have your children remain with you in the sanctuary. To occupy young children, please feel free to borrow a blue activity bag, available in the coat rack area near the elevator or hanging on the coat rack in the narthex, or use the activity sheets located with the bulletins at both entrances to the sanctuary.
